AER Communication:

The Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) has published the following message on the Digital Data Submission (DDS) System regarding the upcoming changes to the AER S-30 Sulphur Balance Reporting process transition to Petrinex.

  • The Sulphur Balance Reporting System
In fall 2026, the submission system for the S-30 Sulphur Balance Report will transition from the Digital Data Submission (DDS) system to Petrinex. Once the transition is complete, DDS will no longer be available for S-30 Sulphur Balance Report submissions, viewing historically submitted reports, or amendments to prior periods. After the transition is complete, all S-30 Sulphur Balance reporting, including amendments for prior periods, must be submitted using Petrinex and historically submitted reports can also be viewed in Petrinex. More information, including key transition dates, will be provided as it becomes available. If you have any questions about this change, contact EmissionsCompliance@aer.ca.
