IOGC AB Functionality - Auto-create Oil Valuation Records

To inform industry users that effective December 7, 2022, additional enhancements were made to the existing IOGC functionality in Alberta. These include: monthly extracts from Petrinex to IOGC, the availability of IOGC Royalty Details and Royalty Summary reports as part of IOGC Ministry Reporting functionality, and a new IOGC report called “IOGC Working Interest Owner Report”.

IOGC Saskatchewan Reporting Changes

To inform Industry that as of July 8, 2021 Indian Oil and Gas Canada [IOGC] went live in Petrinex with extracts from Petrinex to IOGC and additional functionality in Saskatchewan. This takes Industry closer to the day when duplicate reporting [to IOGC and Petrinex] will no longer be required, once IOGC is fully stabilized in the Saskatchewan Platform (by October 2021).

IOGC Royalty Tax Payer (RTP) Known Issues

On August 5, 2020, changes were made to the Petrinex functionality for the IOGC Royalty/Tax Payer (RTP) functionality in Alberta. Effective, August 6, 2020, Industry users were required to enter the Royalty/Tax Payer information for First Nation of Interest Wells in Alberta. This update was to be effective for the July 2020 production month.

Changes to Pipeline Split Functionality Affecting OVE003, OVE007 and OVE008 Errors

This tip is to inform Industry that the Saskatchewan Energy and Resources has implemented a change to Petrinex that will cease the rolling up of cascade merge (CASMER) volumes for the purchaser oil valuation records. In addition, a details button has been added to the purchaser oil valuation records so that
purchasers can view which cascaded volumes have been rolled up into the single oil valuation volume

$US/$CDN Exchange Rate for Oil Valuation
